 2009 Stats 

*Brian Moorman (9th Season, Buffalo Bills, NFL):  So far in the 2009 regular season, Brian has 78 punts for an average of 46.6 yards per punt with a net of 41.0 and a long of 73!  He has 23 inside the 20 punts and only 7 touchbacks.  Brian could be headed back to the Pro Bowl this year!

*Justin Medlock (1st Season, Toronto Argonauts, CFL)Justin held two positions on the team in the 2009 season.  He was 8/8 on PAT's, 20/21 on FG's (95.2%) with a long of 52 and 68 points!  Justin averaged 41.5 yards on 51 punts with a long of 55 yards.  Great job Justin!

*Alex Wulfeck (Freshman, Wake Forest University)Alex has redshirted this season (2009) and will have a great chance at being the starting punter next year for Wake!

*Brooks Abbott (Sophomore, Episcopal High School)Brooks ended his sophomore season 5 of 10 on field goals with a long of 36 yards, 24 for 25 on extra points, and one punt for 58 yards!  Brooks kicked the game winning field goal against Nease High School in week 4!  Great season Brooks!

*Max Shaw (Freshman, Airforce Academy):  Max has headed west and is competing for a kicking position at the Airforce Academy! 

*Robby Phillips (Junior, Fernandina Beach High School)So far in the 2009 season, Robby has 10 touchbacks on 10  deep kick-offs (many of these were kicked to the back of the end zone!), and 2 onside kick-offs with 1 recovered.  He is 6 for 8 on extra points (1 blocked).  Robby is averaging 40.5 yards on 13 total punts as well!  Great job Robby!

*Banner Clark (Junior, Trinity Christian Academy):  Trinity Christian Academy lost to American Heritage High School in the Class 1A State Championship game last week and finished their season 13-1!  Banner had a stellar season converting on is 67 of 72 PAT's (1 miss from 35 yards after penalties, and 3 blocked), 3/7 field goals (43, 37, 51, 42, 49, 34, 45), and 30 punts averaging 39.0 yards per punt!  He has had 90 kick-offs with 43 touchbacks and 37 others inside the 10!  Great season Banner!

*Bennett Blanton (Sophomore, Providence High School):  So far this season Bennett is 35 of 36 on extra points and 3 of 4 on field goals.  He is also currently the second string punter.

*Tommy Openshaw (Freshman, Creekside High School):  Tommy finished his freshman season with 26 punts for an average of 34.07 yards per punt, 7 for 10 on extra points, 0/2 on field goals (35 yard attempt and bad snap/hold on the other).  He has also thrown a pass on a fake punt that went for 20 yards and has an onside kickoff for a recovery!  Great job Tommy!

*Matt Ellis (Freshman, Webber International)Matt is kicking for the JV and Varsity this season.  For both teams, Matt is 4 for 5 on extra points and 2 for 4 on field goals so far this season for Webber International.

*Tim Contic (Senior, Nease High School):   (DOWNLOAD & WATCH JUNIOR FILM HERE)  Tim finished his junior season averaging 39.2 yards on 38 punts, 38.5 net yards (not a lot of NFL teams can do that!), with a long of 59 yards and NO blocks!  Tim opened his 2009 senior season with 11 punts averaging 39.9 yards per punt, including a 80 yarder (school record!) that pinned the opponent inside the 15 yard line!  Tim's total stats to date include: 28 punts for a 39.81 yard average.

*Jordan Rieling (Sophomore, Camden County High School)So far in the 2009 season, Jordan has field goals of 33 and 25 and is 11 of 13 on extra points.  He has 5 kickoffs (1 touchback and 2 inside the 10).  Great job Jordan!

*Mike McKendree (Senior, Hilliard High School):  Mike finished his senior season with 10 of 12 on extra points, 3 for 3 on FG's (22, 27, and 28 yards), and 16 punts averaging 37.41 yards per punt.  He had a total of 188 rushes for 1,261 yards with 9 td's, 8 receptions for 113 yards with 2 td's. On defense, Mike had 104 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 3 fumble recoveries, and 3 interceptions (one returned for a TD)!  He also had a 60 yard kickoff return for a TD!  Mike was voted by the U.S. Army, as the ARMY Iron Man of the week for his performance in the 10-2-09 game...AND nominated for the 10-16-09 game as well...and Chiefland HS game on 11-6-09!  TWO IRON MAN OF THE WEEK WINNERS for Mike!  Great job Mike!
